charming stay in a historical mansion
large room high ceiling spacious bathroom
the rooms were very large and well equipped. the high ceilings gave a great sense of place. the bathrooms are very spacious as well, compared with other properties. i enjoyed that the main features of the historical mansion were maintained with open courtyards and staircases.
i noticed the breakfast, although good, could offer more variety. more fresh vegetables and fruits would be a welcome addition. i felt this would enhance the overall dining experience.

i was really happy with the free drinks i got upon arrival. the complimentary spa session was such a cool, unexpected perk! the rooftop sun deck was a big hit with me too.
i found that there was only one person doing everything (reception, bar, service). this hotel has no atmosphere. i noticed some dirty glasses and tables.

the room i got, grand mediterranean-beautiful double room, had shampoo products that felt amazing. breakfast IS top. the staff were very professional and helpful. this WAS important after a long travel Day.

the breakfast was acceptable nothing to write home about but acceptable
the mini bar was poorly stocked i found only two warm beers there was no bottled water at all i had to call reception multiple times to get someone to replenish it the air conditioning in my room barely worked it was uncomfortably warm during the night even after adjusting the settings

french doors large bed power outage slow response
my room had french doors to a balcony. the bed was very large. breakfast on the terrace featured an a la carte menu.
the power in my room went out one night. it took 40 minutes to sort. it took a long time to reach anyone by phone. the response to my feedback was not professional.

a nice stay
excellent staff great location lovely bathroom prompt service
the staff provided really good service. tolo, cristina, and tina were very good, ensuring i felt comfortable. they recommended local restaurants and gave helpful information. aian's attentiveness impressed me, especially his suggestion to take a hotel umbrella one rainy morning. the service on the roof terrace was quick and wonderful.
The hotel is very quiet. It lacks a little bit of atmosphere.

The staff was attentive. my room was super clean, and the bed was very comfy. breakfast was delicious (especially the pastries!). i used the shuttle service to puro beach club. It was convenient.
the elevators were a bit slow at peak times.
